Michael is a 39 year old man who was in the marine corps for almost twenty years. He got sent home because of a terrible accident on the battle field. He and his squad were going to retrieve intel about the enemy building ideas that could be devastating. When him and his squad were on their way going to retrieve it, they ran across a mine field. His whole squad gone but him but he was severely injured as one of his squad members blew up in his face. He was rescued and sent home. After some time being at home he was able to walk and do stuff on his own, but a couple of weeks later he started having flashbacks to were his friends got blow up and flashbacks of what happened on the battle field. He thought they weren't going to hurt but later on they did. He started reenacting the flashbacks so it made hime feel like he was there fighting again. He was uncontrollable. He would also get bad dreams once in a while and wake up crying seeing his friends and family die. Psychotherapy is what Michael does to help reduces PTSD because he and others has noticed it is hurting him.
